Proximity Sensor | E2A-M12KS04-WP-B1-2M | Omron
Omron E2A-M12KS04-WP-B1 Proximity Sensors are available in models using high-frequency oscillation to detect ferrous and non-ferrous metal objects and in capacitive models to detect non-metal objects. Models are available with environment resistance, heat resistance, resistance to chemicals, and resistance to water.

Model: E2A-M12KS04-WP-B1-2M
Type: Proximity Sonsor
Introduction:
Guarantees a sensing range that is roughly 1.5–2 times greater than any typical OMRON sensor.
Complete selection of standard sizes (M8, M12, M18, andM30; barrels, both long and short)
Guarantees a sensing range of roughly 1.5 to 2.
several times greater than any typical OMRON sense.
Emergencies like work piece collisions may disposed of.
Complete selection of standard sizes (M8, M12, M18, and M30; barrels, both long and short)
Customization is made easier by modular construction.
High-tension Lines
To guard against damage or malfunction, run the proximity sensor’s cable through a separate metal conduit if a power or high-tension line is located close by.
Maintenance and Inspection
Periodically perform the following checks to ensure stable operation of the Proximity Sensor over a long period of time.
- Check for mounting position, dislocation, looseness, or distortion of the Proximity Sensor and sensing objects.
- Check for loose wiring and connections, improper contacts, and line breakage.
- Check for attachment or accumulation of metal powder or dust.
- Check for abnormal temperature conditions and other environmental conditions.
- Check for proper lighting of indicators (for models with a set indicator.) Never disassemble or repair the Sensor.
Mounting
The Proximity Sensor must not be subjected to excessive shock with a hammer when it is installed, otherwise the Proximity Sensor may be damaged or lose its water-resistivity.
Operating Environment
Be sure to use the Proximity Sensor within its operating ambient temperature range and do not use the Proximity Sensor outdoors so that its reliability and life expectancy can be maintained. Although the Proximity Sensor is water resistive, a cover to protect the Proximity Sensor from water or water-soluble machining oil is recommended so that its reliability and life expectancy can be maintained. Do not use the Proximity Sensor in an environment with chemical gas (e.g., strong alkaline or acid gasses including nitric, chromic and concentrated sulfuric acid gases)
